How to Still Go on Vacation During This Economic Slump

Everyone is feeling the repercussions of the current US economic slump. Between gas prices, loss of jobs, tuition fees, and bad mortgages, citizens of the U.S. have their pockets pinched more than ever.

Our initial reaction is to save as much as possible, a penny here and a penny there, in order to make ends meet. This often means cutting off leisure activites such as going on vacation. While this is a good practice for saving capital, it leaves little room for enjoying the fruits of life and your work. Getting away on a vacation from your every day environment can often be your only time to breathe, reflect, and truly enjoy living.
