What inspired you to launch your own website?

To gain a broader International Clientel

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

About 2 years ago, basically the same as it is now, just a few more photos and video now

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Well its what we do and where we are.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I have designed our site and I think that it is visually pleasing, a picture tells a 1000 words apparantly.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Not very well at presant, but we are optimistic

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would buy a better software program to design the website myself, I enjoy doing it myself

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I think so, our Industry is unusual as in we (all the separate Harley Rides Business's) work together on large group rides, we all subcontract to each other, its a bit of a team effort really

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None really, we started this business from scratch but we knew it would be a lot of outlay for a long time until we were established

What has been your biggest challenge?

Everything because we have done everything ourselves so we have had to learn sooooooo much, not being able to pay professional people to do things for us

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

A cross link of things, youtube,myspace,reciprocal links,free submissions of url, etc

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It has worked better than expected at this point.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

about 2 years, we will keep it as long as we are still in business
