What inspired you to launch your own website?
Living in Oropesa and wanting to bring more holiday makers over to see one of Spains best kept secrets to English tourists
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
First website. Wow, that must of been years ago. 8 or so. Infact lets see if its still around. http://www.geocities.com/lokoworld and marvel at my immaturity and youth.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It does exactly what it says on the tin
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We try and offer as much information about the area as possible with images, videos and information on the resort so they know exactly why to come and what there is.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To bring as many english people to the resort and make Oropesa Del Mar and Spain one of Europes most famous tourist areas. The new airport being built 5km away will aid this.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Do what you enjoy and time isnt a worry.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
More marketing.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Absolutely
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
I didnt expect Michael Moore to outeat the local buffet

Getting into america on an Iraqi passport

OropesaDelMar.com, another site I own
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Its more enjoyable than expected.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
The site has launced recently as a sub-division for holidays to Oropesa of the Danesp SL group.
Name one reason why to come to Oropesa Del Mar
The festival of Benicassim in July, Europes biggest music festival with acts such as Placebo, Iggy Pop, Amy Winehouse in recent years and many more.
Oropesa is the perfect option to stay during the festival out of the festival hecticness and then get the many coach transfers and enjoy the festival hours in Benicassim.
