Orange Groves Villa is a Brand-new 5 Bedroom villa with private pool and spa, available for rent and situated only 15 minutes from Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida. The villa accomodates 10-12 people and features a large games room, extended sun-deck, color changing pool lights, pool waterjets and a large BBQ. There is also free use of golf clubs (with many golf courses nearby!), fishing tackle, PC, WiFi and high speed broadband. The villa is situated on a beautiful lakeside gated community and is the ideal base for your florida holiday.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The community in which the villa exists is surrounded by Orange Groves, and one of the main industries in the area has been orange farming, so we named the villa accordingley. We were lucky enough to be able to buy the domain www.OrangeGrovesVilla.com to suit the villas name.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
We like to think that the villa is just that little bit special and as you will see from the features page on the website, we have provided many additional extras that you wouldn't typically find in a rental villa. We have also made an extra effort to cater for younger children (e.g. with 2 Disney themed twin bedrooms, High Chairs, Travel Cots, Baby Monitors etc.) as we have triplets in the family and many connections with twins and triplet groups.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It takes a lot of effort (and money!) to manage a villa like this, we do not expect to make huge ammounts of money from doing it, just so long as we cover costs and keep our guests happy. A big part of the reward is getting the good feedback from our guests and pledges to return the following year.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting the website up and running in the first place. I have an IT background and have created one or two very simple websites in the past, but not on this scale. I was determined I was going to do it myself but soon discovered that to get the results I wanted would take a big effort.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
It has been pretty much word of mouth up until now and we have done quite well considering. We are now looking for alternative ways to promote the villa and to get the website noticed.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It has taken a lot more effort to create and maintain than I anticipated. This is my first real venture into web development, it is a lot of effort, but at the same time very rewarding and hopefully worthwhile!
