What inspired you to launch your own website?

This is my business and I live in Estes Park

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

NetFuzion.com in 1999. We provide workforce management software.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

SEO and marketing purposes

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I live in Estes Park and know the area and can offer the best advice for creating a vacation here.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Provide luxury vacation listings.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

For every dollar I spend I expect to get a dollar or more in return. If not, why bother?

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I like the site as it is now, but it is new and somewhat small. I guess I would want the best content and get other people to interact more with the site, perhaps post their own reviews, etc.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

More listings than renters right now, but that will change soon.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting everything organized.

SEO

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Takes time to see results.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

The site has been live for a couple months now. I have no doubt it won't be successful, I don't even entertain the idea.

What is your favorite place to visit in the Rocky Mountains?

Rocky Mountain National Park is often under-rated. There are so many beautiful aspects here and it's right in your back yard in the US! Many will travel the world and yet never know this sacred place.
